Staff and Volunteers
Our programs rely on a team of volunteer mediators from the community. Currently, our team consists of parents, counselors, retired professionals, and other community members. For more information about becoming a volunteer mediator, see our training page.

Alice M. Price has directed the program since 1998. Prior to that time, she served as board president and trainer for the program during its start-up phase. Ms. Price has over 25 years of experience as a mediation practitioner and trainer. She served for several years on staff with Mennonite Conciliation Service, a national mediation program of Mennonite Central Committee. Her experience in mediation includes work with community agencies, families, businesses, schools, and churches.

Paula Medina has served as Program Manager/Case Manager since 1998, and also provides coordination for our volunteers. Ms. Medina is a native of the San Luis Valley and familiar with its varied organizations and communities. She has training and work background in administrative skills, and does the bookkeeping and data entry for the program. In addition, Ms. Medina is a trained mediator and served for three years as one of our volunteer mediators prior to joining the staff.
